About Me

My name is Alec Vinson, and I am recently earned my PhD in astrophysics at UCLA working with Brad Hansen. In my research, my current interest is in exoplanetary dynamics. For more information about my current project involving potentially habitable planets in M-Dwarf systems, click on the Research tab above. In the past, I have also served as the External President for the Math and Physical Sciences Council (MPSC) at UCLA, an arm of the UCLA Graduate Student Association (GSA).

Currently, I am also lecturing at UCLA teaching lower division physics.
