This folder contains a jupyter notebook to simulate realistic lenses and evaluate the precision in measureing cosmic shear quantities. This serves as additional material to (Birrer, Refregier & Amara, ApJ Letter, submitted).

The jupyter notebook serves as an interface for the user with 'lenstronomy', an open-source lensing software package (Birrer et al. in prep).

use:

requirements: python, ipython installed on the machine. Further instructions are available in the notebook.
