I received my B.A. in astrophysics from UC Berkeley in 2009 and my M.S. in astronomy from UCLA in 2011.

At UC Berkeley I also earned a minor in music; music continues to be one of my greatest passions. I enjoy playing in wind ensembles, jazz bands, and marching bands, singing in choirs, composing, and teaching private lessons. In Los Angeles, I am a member of the UCLA Chorale, UCLA Chamber Singers, and Westwood Voices, an acapella group that performs both Renaissance and contemporary classical music.

In my free time I like to paint, sketch, knit and crochet, enjoy the outdoors, and cook. :-)
