I received my B.A. in astrophysics from UC Berkeley in 2009 and my M.S. in astronomy from UCLA in 2011.

I also studied music at Berkeley and completed the minor program; music continues to be one of my greatest passions. I enjoy playing in wind ensembles, jazz bands, and marching bands, singing in choirs, composing, and both taking and teaching private lessons. Currently, I teach clarinet lessons and am a member of the UCLA Chorale, UCLA Chamber Singers, and Westwood Voices.

In my free time I like to paint and sketch, enjoy the outdoors, and cook. :-)
