On June 27th, 40 students from the Upward Bount Math and Science Program came to visit UCLA's campus. They were treated to a tour of the UCLA Meteorite Gallery, where they learned about the different types of meteorites, the process of differentiation, and the composition of asteroids. They were even able to see a piece of rock from Mars!
After learning about meteorites, the students sat down to talk with graduate and undergraduate students from the Physics and Astronomy department for a panel discussion about life in college and beyond. Thank you for your visit, Moreno Valley College!
