Black Holes: Stellar BHs & Supermassive BHs; Active Galactic
Nuclei
Dark Matter -- Luminous matter (stars, gas, and dust) may only
comprise a tiny fraction of the universe's total mass. Includes links to dark
matter detection experiments.
Gamma Ray Bursts -- These puzzling, high-energy events have been
observed since the 1960s, but most of our understanding about these
observational phenomena has come in the past ~4 years, making GRBs a current
hot topic in astronomy.
