(1) Identify a paper that is related to your current research 
topic. Choose a paragraph in the results or discussion section 
of this paper and paraphrase this paragraph in your own words. 
When you hand in your assignment, include both the original 
paragraph and your paraphrased version.

(2) Identify a "paper zero" for your research topic. Explain 
why this is paper is a classic in your sub-field. Perform an 
ADS search focused on this paper, based on forward citations, 
and write down a reading list of at least several papers. 
Explain the relevance of each of the papers in your reading 
list to the original "paper zero" and your topic. (Read these 
papers!!)

(3) If you have not gotten bibtex up and running, get bibtex 
up and running. You're welcome.
