Ferdinand Coroniti
studies the application of plasma physics and magnetohydrodynamics to
astrophysical systems. Recent research areas include the structure of
super-relativistic winds, which are emitted by a pulsar magnetosphere, and
the interaction of the wind with the surrounding supernova remnant.
William Newman
is a Professor in the Departments of Earth and Space Sciences, Mathematics,
and Physics and Astronomy. His research focus is dynamical problems in the
solar system as well as other astrophysical environments.
Steve Berukoff
has long been interested in developing a robust description for
turbulence, which manifests in multiple astrophysical domains, including
galactic jets and protoplanetary disks.
